The Denver SCI Humanitarian Program hosts outings for military veterans and other individuals with disabilities.

Daily life can be stressful and isolating for a person who has sustained a disabling injury or brain trauma. The opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and participate in a group activity can have a therapeutic effect, greatly improving one's outlook on life.

​Since 2004 Denver's SCI Humanitarian Outreach Program has had the honor of organizing hunting, fishing, archery instruction and other outings for these individuals. These activities provide a priceless opportunity for a day of peace, relaxation, camaraderie and fun in a safe, supportive environment.
